Quigley Match Wet Weather Plan

This is the time of year for thunderstorms to bring primarily afternoon and evening rains, sometimes with hail and high winds.  The Quigley Match is held in a grass pasture of Lee Ranch.  During and following rain storms the gumbo mud will get you stuck very quickly and you  will tear up the pasture if you attempt to drive in.  Additionally the gravel road to the match site has had surface work done to it and is muddier than usual with these rains.  If you arrive during rain or see evidence of recent rain, please pull your RV or trailer into one of the locations marked with orange on the map below.  The various school parking lots are paved.  The parking areas east of Heberle Ford and around the City Shop are gravel.  The mud dries relatively quickly with wind and sun.  When the Quigley site is open again for vehicle traffic someone will visit these 5 holding areas and notify you to proceed to the match site.  We appreciate your cooperation.  Call Al Kajin  at 406-201-0317 or Claudia Kajin at 406-201-0316 for further information.
